When to get us involved

As early as possible. Nowadays tech infrastructure is as important as good electrical and plumbing. Tech infrastructure is quickly becoming the nervous system of all kinds of buildings. In some cases it’s the deciding factor when it comes to closing a deal on a property. The earlier we are involved, the more money can be saved and a far greater outcome on the final product can be achieved. Tech infrastructure is so often an afterthought and that is the least effective strategy with the potential of unrealized costs and physical limitations.

Site Survey and Inspection

As we are taking measurements we keep a focus on the human element. It all starts here, using our broader three step system (DTP, DTR, DTB) to quickly develop the big picture.

• DTP (Determine The Purpose) – Determining the purpose allows us to keep focus on the most important part of the project: It’s purpose. Specifically, the client’s primary mission, vision,message, ultimate goal, and purpose. This then leads to the next determinator.
• DTR (Determine The Relationship) – Determining the relationship is the next natural step once the true and primary purpose of the project is defined. This is where expectations and areas of responsibility are fleshed out. Greater Cue is all about transparency. Every project is different and varies in scope. Sometimes all creative content comes from the client and GCI focuses heavily on the equipment and execution. Other times creative content is a shared effort. Defining this relationship early on makes for a fun, exciting project that will lead to great results.
• DTB (Determine The Budget) Having steps 1 and 2 defined makes it much easier to determine the budget. There are often several ways to accomplish a project’s purposes and we use creativity to get you to completion in the most cost effective way without losing focus of the core purpose. All three steps work like a checks and balance system. This is a great thing because you, the client, know what to expect and it helps avoid aspects that do not serve the highest and best purpose of the project.

Design

Every little detail affects one another. We keep at it, until all elements are working in harmony and for your desired purpose. We design from the perspective of the human experience. Sightlines, comfort, ease of use, and purpose are important. We use proven design principles that can be seen in all of nature and creation. Proportion and placement is also important and this fixes many issues that would otherwise be expensive and less effectively corrected.

Proposal & Education

We always offer a clear plan of action and inform you until you really feel like you truly understand what we are offering. We will gather and present whatever information that is desired as well as present clear objectives and expected costs. It’s our job to be sure you fully understand and approve of the action plan.
