About Greater Cue Integrations

We’re here to give your home and business an IQ!

We at Greater Cue Integrations (GCI) are experts at selecting and optimizing technologies that stimulate the senses, make life easier, and more fun. There is nothing more exciting than watching every element of your home and your business work cohesively with one motion or command.

We are here to work with you until your home and business has the best suited technology to offer structure where you need it, but the spontaneity when you desire it. We take a holistic approach to make your space work for you by giving it its own one-of-a-kind fingerprint. Whether you choose to implement smart technology for the fundamental needs up to and including security, safety, convenience and entertainment systems.

We live in a time where we can minimize a vast variety of monotonous activities with autonomous devices that can interconnect and offer a network of support in a highly customizable way.

You may be thinking that you want a home and not something out of a sci-fi movie, and you are right. Many of us find that all these devices can complicate things. Technology becomes more of a novelty and distraction if it does not function in a natural and simple way. A smart space is about eliminating the friction of the daily grind and making that space truly feel like home.

It is not about having the newest and greatest smart technology, though I get why that can be fun.. It is about having the right kind of technology in your home or business that gives you time and freedom. We work with you and dive into every detail you dare us to, to find that balance.

When a space becomes a home, it gives a richness to life that is hard to come by in other avenues. Go ahead and ask around and you will be sure to see people’s eyes light up when you ask them about their ideal living space.

GCI’s job is to mute distractions and constantly changing variables that so often present themselves in daily life. Using tech to actually help with this seems to be an opposite concept of the constant distraction of notifications stemming from your smartphone. By all means if you want notifications, we will set you up to be in the “know.” The point is, we want your space to reflect every aspect you want and prevent anything else that would take away from your sanctuary. When you’re in the world you cannot stop the world from pushing whatever it wants to, but your home is your domain… your world. You decide what belongs and what doesn’t. We gear all our projects towards your core purposes and principles.
People interface with the world through the senses. It is through these gateways that we integrate and assimilate the information around us which helps refine our mind, will, and emotions. GCI is on a mission to research and discover all aspects of human interaction to enhance experiences and engage the physiology and psychology of the individual. Through perpetual audio, visual, biological, psychological research, experimentation, and discovery we continue to develop and test novel processes that allow for a better more naturally enhanced user experience.

Our founder Alex Clark is inspired by all the marvels that surround us on a daily basis. You may have noticed our logo. Our logo is based off of the mathematical sequence known as the Fibonacci Sequence. It is also known as the “Golden Ratio” or the “Fingerprint of God.” This sequence was discovered and popularized between the 11th & 12th century by Leonardo Bonacci.

One quickly starts to notice this mathematical blueprint in everything from the design of the helical shape of your DNA to the shape of our galaxy. A nautilus shell is an iconic example, but you will also find this ratio in human anatomy, ocean waves, and a sunflower. It is everywhere. Major tech companies use this ratio as inspiration in their design work.

As our name suggests, at Greater Cue Integrations we have a greater call. Our call revolves around observing our surroundings, digging deep for inspiration, and pursuing discovery. We apply proven concepts and create an experience that is built to engage our physiological gateways and, consequently, offering a better service and product.

Who is Alex Clark?

Alex is the owner and founder of GCI (Greater Cue Integrations), and a husband and a father of two. His wife, Cash, is a Microbiologist, an excellent mother and is the stability that has given Alex the foundation to grow and be bold in his endeavors. He is a man that is constantly in process and enjoys adventure in many forms. Alex loves the mountains and hopes to become at ease with sailing in the open ocean. Jude is Alex’s first son and has forever changed Alex’s perspective of the world. Levi is his second son. Levi is bright eyed and full of energy. An inspiration to us all.

Alex has always been mechanical and curious to find out how things work. As a child he preferred nature documentaries and home improvement shows while most of his friends preferred cartoons. He was born in 1985 and enjoyed a mostly analog childhood while still having the unique opportunity to watch the internet change the way the world operates. He knows how to use a rotary phone and has watched beepers fade into the past.

Alex first discovered his interest in sound and integrations in first grade. His older brother was a DJ at his high school and allowed Alex to play with his old speakers. That’s where it started and it has only grown into an ever expanding passion.

Alex first played with radios and home stereo systems through his elementary school years. In junior high, he began volunteering at churches and building custom HiFi speakers for local friends and parents. In his true form he found himself interested in so many areas other than sound. If it could be tinkered with, you would find him doing so. For six years he volunteered which opened him up to mixing and engineering bands, weddings, and small galas.

In his early years of high school he had a chance to mix for Brenton Wood and have some mix sessions in local Los Angeles studios. One gig led to another and the rest is history. Now with 20 years behind him professionally, he has found himself involved in every form of user interaction making GCI an inevitable reality.
